Yes, it’s that time of year again…..to shave your legs, lather on your self tanner, but our your glamorous sunnies, and to find a new swimsuit! I am LOVING this season’s lingerie inspired swimwear. Maybe it’s the style (pin-up..hello!), or the print (florals are sooo girly), or the details (ruffles and bows, oh my), but this summer rock a suit that is all sexy! I wore white shoes on my wedding day, BUT these shoes make me wish I had opted for a bold color!! A little something blue perhaps? Or a green? Whatever the color may be, wearing a bold shoe is just another fun way to let your personality shine through on your special day!!

Pastels are not just for Prom dresses and Easter eggs! Since this week is the official beginning of Spring, I thought a lovely sampling of pastel colors was in order!! From balloons, to blooms, pastels keep me feeling Spring even when the weather is still cold. And I’ll take any excuse to wear this season’s pastel nail colors!! So layer that pastel sweater with some pearls, maybe carry a blush clutch, and keep hope alive that Spring weather is coming!!

Sunday is our favorite Irish holiday! St. Patrick’s Day is not only an excuse to party like the Irish, but it’s also the best reason to wear Pantone’s 2013 color of the year, emerald! If head to toe green isn’t your thing, paint your nails a lovely shade of kelly, just to show some Irish spirit!!

So in honor of one of my favorite holidays, (who doesn’t want to freely wear a button that says “kiss me I’m Irish” regardless of your nationality?) this week’s gallery is everything emerald, Ireland, shamrocks, and and Irish glam!

10 MUST-HAVE Beauty Products for Spring Break!!

It’s that time of year when we ditch our down puffers and replace them with bikinis! Sun – kissed inspired beauty products ensure you will feel gorgeous and worthy of beach goddess status no matter how you really feel about wearing next to nothing! So here’s my list of my top 10 MUST HAVES!! Not going anywhere? Self-tanner is always a mood booster, and a bold lip and nail go a long way in the cold! And don’t forget some new lingerie to heat things up! (all products can be found at Sephora!)

1. First things first, you must exfoliate!! Try Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish.

2. If you love your skin (which you should!!), self tanner is a girl’s best friend! My fave: Clarins Self Tanning Instant Gel.

3. To really shine, try NARS Body Glow.

4. For help getting “effortless beach hair”, use the old stand-by. Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray. You just can’t go wrong!

5. When your skin is bronzed and glowing, stick with a neutral eye. Benefit Cosmetics has a great eye palette line called World Famous Neutrals. Try their Most Glamour Neutrals Ever to look like a Spring Break Goddess!! (and, isn’t that the point?)

6. For traveling you want to keep this simple, but you still need blush AND a brozer, so use NARS Blush/Bronzer. My absolute favorite combo is orgasm/laguna.

7. I’m OBSESSED with a bold lip for Spring Break (and summer for that matter!). Soap & Glory’s Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick is perfect in my MUST-HAVE color: Fuchsia-ristic!

8. A girl’s look is never complete without a spritz of perfume! For a light, summery scent that’s perfect for a warm weather vacation, try Calvin Klein’s ETERNITY Summer!

9. And, a girl’s face is never complete without a coat of mascara! For the sun and surf, waterproof is best. My favorite mascara has been and probably always will be Diorshow, so Diorshow Waterproof Mascara is a MUST for Spring Break!!

10. I love color + metallic for nails, so SEPHORA COLLECTION’s Pastel Pop Scented Nailpolish Duo in grapefruit is perfect! Try a bold french manicure using both polishes!!!

And no warm weather vacation is complete without some new, brightly colored lingerie!!! Consider this “river blue” chemise by Cosabella Amore! (and at $35, it’s a no-brainer!)

Gallery Special: The Oscars Red Carpet!!

Unless you live in a cave and don’t have a TV or Internet you know that everyone is a buzz with the Oscar gowns from last night! And, to be fair, the men of Hollywood have been getting worthy press as well! (Have you ever seen so many beards outside of a lumber jack convention?)

So many different (and gorgeous) trends were shown, from the usual glitz and glamour to bold colors and Vegas sparkle! Though, it seemed the leading ladies were playing it safe, everyone looked beautiful! But let’s get really honest for a second. What was up with Anne Hathaway’s gown? I expected more from her and from Prada….those darts that resembled nipples? Not at the Oscars, and not on the Best Supporting Actress winner! But that’s my only complaint, I promise. So here are the best gowns!!! (with the exception of Anne Hathaway’s, but I still HAVE to include her with the best of the best!)

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!!!! How I celebrate? Strawberries and chocolate! I used to make them the night before, but now I just melt the chocolate chips and dip those delicious strawberry’s right in the bowl! ha ha!! Maybe I’ll even let my husband have a few…maybe!

Grammy’s Red Carpet: The “memo” didn’t hold anyone back!

This is a BIG week for fashion. It’s NYC Fashion week, and the Grammy’s were last night!!

I always love the Red Carpet at the Grammy’s because you never know what’s going to happen! Didn’t Lady Gaga show up in an egg one year?! I mean really! The songstresses always take fashion risks, and I love it. From Nikki Minaj’s leopard hair, to Rihanna’s revealing gowns. But, I will NEVER forget the Versace “J.Lo” gown back in 2000. That dress basically launched the careers of both Jennifer Lopez and Donatella Versace. (talk about a powerful design!) And, this year, it could have launched the inspiration for a CBS “memo” asking Grammy attendees to keep their looks “appropriate”. It’s rumored to have cited side boob and puffy skin as violations! Though it’s true that as a whole, the red carpet was toned down, music’s finest still wore sheer fabrics, cut-outs, and jewels like it was their job!! Some of the rebels on the carpet included Katy Perry, Kelly Rowland, and J. Lo again! (move over Angelina Jolie, J. Lo’s leg is here and it’s not going anywhere)

And my favorite male look: Justin Timberlake in Tom Ford…yes, ladies, sexy is back!

All Hail Queen Bey!

Let’s be honest, the best part of the Superbowl last night was not the commercials (though I did love the Prom Audi one!), all the tasty food (definitely a couple pounds heavier this morning), or even the football game (but an honorable mention does go out to Kaepernick’s arms!!), it was definitely Beyonce’s halftime show! I’ve been a huge Bey fan since “Bills, Bills, Bills”, and that show made my night! I had my fingers crossed yesterday that Kelly and Michelle would join their superstar friend and sing a few Destiny Child’s hits, so you can imagine I had a big smile on my face when they belted out a little “Bootylicious! From the wardrobe to the special effects, I thought Beyonce killed it! And, what makes Beyonce such an icon is that she really works hard. She sings her heart out (listen, it was cold at the inauguration, she HAD to use some help), and she dances like a mother*$%*@#, all while looking fabulous! (That body?! Get out of town!!) She keeps her personal life private and seems to still be grateful even though she has reached a level of fame and acclaim everyone else in the world can only dream of. So here’s some of the highlights from last night show!!!

And, bonus! Bey is going on tour!!!!!
